Ways to get involved
Whether you're at school, work, or associated with one of Spurgeons' projects, getting involved on Friday 14th October couldn't be easier. Here's how it all works:
Nurseries
Order your FREE sticker sets from our resources section and get the little ones decorating their wellies! Afterwards why not arrange a welly wearing race to show off those newly customised boots? Keep parents and spectators happy by handing out stompy cookies made with your FREE cookie cutter.
Primary schools
Mufti day, own clothes day, non uniform day, whatever name you give it, it always goes down a treat with pupils. For this years Big Orange Stomp arrange a mufti day with a difference - everyone comes in their wellies! Continue the welly theme with sponsored welly walks, welly decorating and other welly based games. Order your FREE welly boot sticker sets to make sure everyone has Stompy wellies.
Secondary schools
Who doesn't want to see their chemistry teacher stomping around in wellies? Arrange a sponsored 'teacher in welly day' and make it a reality! For the bravest of teachers ramp up the embarrassment factor with bean/custard filled boots, or a sponsored run around the playing field. Get involved further by arranging rugby or football kicking competitions (in welly boots of course!).
University
Just think of all that loose change behind the sofa, wouldn't it be better inside... a welly? Set up an old welly as a collection tin and watch the pennies (and pounds!) come rolling in. If you don't fancy topping up your boots with money, why not fill
them with sweets instead? You can challenge your friends to guess the number of sweets in a welly, and then reward them with stompy cookies - made with your FREE cookie cutter.
The workplace
October 14th is your chance to break with formality and go to work dressed as a welly wearing professional! Imagine how much more fun you'll have welly wanging dressed as a farmer, a vet or even a nuclear scientist!
