Whats it about

Girl jumping in the air with orange wellies onThe Big Orange Stomp is Spurgeons’ national annual fundraising day. Every year we strive to raise money and awareness to help change the lives of vulnerable children throughout the UK.

This years Big Orange Stomp is all about the humble wellington boot. Whether it’s through wearing them, throwing them or filling them, your wellies are the ticket to improve thousands of lives, all whilst having a great time doing it. Find out how you can get involved here.

Friday 14th October is your chance to join CBBC's Aidan Davis and Wear your wellies and stomp for Spurgeons.

Spurgeons? Who?

Spurgeons' logoFor over 140 years Spurgeons has been supporting maginalised and vulnerable children and young people. Positive lasting change for vulnerable children – that’s our passion, our history, our reason for being.

Our 50 projects across England support parents, families, young carers, children suffering bereavement and loss through separation, children living with a disability and children at risk of exclusion or offending. We need your help to make sure
that children and young people’s present doesn’t have to be their future.

In these difficult times of budget slashing across the board, our statuatory funding’s taking a massive hit, (we work really closely with and on behalf of local authorities)
putting some of our projects in jeopardy.

Enter The Big Orange Stomp; taking place on Friday October 14th 2011.
